About Kei Fong
Kei Fong is one of the oldest hawker stalls in Ipoh. It has a long business history up to 64 years. In 1952, it's founded by Cliff's grandmother. Kei Fong is also a family business which already pass down to 3rd generation. Cliff Tan is the current owner.
Kei fong, also known as Funny Mountain, it has become an Ipoh famous brand that representing Soya Dessert.
Desserts
Kei Fong offers 3 types of desserts to its customers:
A. Soya Bean Milk
B. Soya Bean CurdC. Cincau
Let's talk about Soya Bean Curd (Tau Fu Fah) & Soya Bean Milk .
Both of them are the signature desserts of Kei Fong. They always strongly recommended by local citizens and loyal customers. Both of them come with different packaging - take away or eat on the spot. Different packages come with different portion. The portion for take away is bigger.
Kei Fong Tau Fu Fah is super duper smooth. You could exactly feel its smoothness and sweetness glides down your throat while eating.
Fresh Soya Bean Milk with white sugar
The packages of desserts. For your information, the small bottle of Soya Bean Milk is 500 ml whereas the large bottle is 1.5l.

From Kei Fong, you're able to taste the traditional soya desserts All the desserts in Kei Fong are produced through traditional method which pass down from the founder, by using organic raw materials. It is important to emphasize that, every single desserts are produced without using any preservative. In addition, Kei Fong offers drive thru service for its customers without any extra charge. This would provide convenience for customers due to its is hard to find parking lot around that area and Kei Fong always full with line up.
Kei Fong famous with their unique and traditional taste of Tau Fu Fah and Soya. There are using the traditional sekkou (石膏) as one of their main food ingredient that result of the great taste of the desserts. Besides, they do not put in any preservation ingredient to preserve their food. The freshness of the dessert has become one of the product strategy of Kei Fong.
Kei Fong has using price/quality approach to differentiate themselves among other competitors. They priced their product slightly higher as compared with other Tau Fu Fah Sellers and positioned themselves as premium yet traditional dessert for the local in Ipoh.
